Computer games

Four out of five Swedes play computer games and the computer games industry has sales of over 320 million euro a year just in Sweden alone. The earlier games were incredibly simple. Today a gamer can move around in virtual worlds together with players from the other side of the globe. The games have become so popular and profitable that they have come to drive the development of hardware. A computer must be a good games computer to sell.

Computer games are not simply for playing and undemanding entertainment, but are often a new form of storytelling. The player can be in the story and influence how the computer game acts — in more than one sense.
